Rob to present with Kristen Stewart at Oscars

Queen Latifah will bring her chanteuse stylings to the In Memoriam portion of the Oscars telecast. She'll sing that WWII era classic, "I'll be Seeing You." You knew they'd do something special with Paul Newman passing last year.
Hitflix also says the Twilight stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be presenters. And of course, Hugh Jackman is hosting. Next Sunday night.

if you go back to the source of that source, you'll see that they just quoted exactly what the producer of the show told E! on friday.. which was that there will be a twilight presence at the awards. they definitely did not say it's rob or kristen. that "source" just wrote that article to get people to read it (which of course, we all did!)
i think there's definitely a chance KStew will be there.. but i highly highly doubt we'll see Rob.

I usually never watch the Oscars, so they will be the only reason I'll be watching.

letterstorob is completely on top of it here, it doesn't mention anything about Rob or Kristen, and I just don't see this as Rob's "cup of tea"

LOL.
Ohmy. I misread your comment, Nicole, and thought you said if Rob was there and Kristen was pregnant.

Anyway. I'm pretty much in agreement with everyone. It doesn't seem like something Rob would do, but then again you never know what the PR people have roped him into doing. Kristen might be more likely to present, though. I think.

According to the Twilight Lexicon, Rob & Kristen are doing some Twilight promotional stuff in Japan at the end of the month...sooo, maybe it isn't a stretch to hope that he will be in LA prior to leaving for that.

I agree that the Oscars wouldn't seem to be his kind of thing, but it is an honor most up and coming actors wouldn't turn down; plus I would imagine that he'd get some pressure from Summit to appear as well.
